    @TheSublimeAgent

I actually had this before at . 04% but I can’t remember the results beside the thinning of skin and flaking.

How would you compare this to Dmae?

Hi i was wondering if i could use just a regular retinol and if that would work because i want the same effect or close to it and i was looking into the the retinol product from Neutrogena called: Healthy skin anti-wrinkle cream, the one for day as well as the one for night and i wanted your opinion on how well you think that would work also do you have any recomendations on how young you can start using retinol products?

People say that if you use this product at a young age it will not be effective in old age(when you really need it) as your skin is already used to it. . . . . is that true??

  11. sslilac says:

Retinol is just a milder form of Retin A, and will not give full benefits like the Retin A will. Retinol is hyped up by cosmetic companies.
Great review as always and agree with every word you said. I think you might make many of the other people here on youtube obsolete.

@rachelwangc There are a lot of online pharmacies (in canada especially) that sell retin a and ship to the U. S. for not that much. :D

  13. TheSublimeAgent says:

@chicasnob You cannot get it over the counter. You can, however, either get a prescription or get it online from a foreign pharmacy (for istance, Canada). It should definitely help with brown spots, unless it is a normal birthmark or something :D Thanks for asking :D

Hi I’m a new subscriber. Your skin looks so amazing. Can I use this Tretenoin for brown sports? Can I get this over the counter?

  15. rachelwangc says:

do you know where u can get it? with/out doctor’s prescription?

I love Retin-A. I’m 28, male, and I use it for spots, blackheads and anti-ageing (prevention and cure). I’ll never use anything else again! Long live Retin-A! :-) )

  17. TheSublimeAgent says:

@cridecar Wow, that does sound like a great combination!! Thanks so much for sharing, this kind of feedback is really helpful for myself as well as others:D I bet your mom does have great skin!! -Michael

  18. cridecar says:

My mom is 70 y/o and have been using retin A for about 20 yrs. She uses Jojoba oil after putting retin A ( i think she uses this 3-4x/week). Her skin is sublime.

I’m male and i’m 36. I noticed some small lines on my forehead. I love the sun and always was doing fishing, skiing, etc. I started using the generic . 025% retin A with Jojoba. The combination is great and am on my first yr now. No more lines, no red skin, no dry skin. Thanks to this combination. I spend $30/ 3mos. Not bad at all!

Prescription LacHydrin 12% (over the counter is 5%) gets rid of KP. I read in Prevention about 15 years ago that a study shows it also rebuilds collagen, so I asked for a prescription since Retin A made me peel sooo bad even when I used it every 2 or 3 days. My doctor tried several of the strengths and the Micro. I guess I should try it again. My doctor last suggested Renova but I said no. I guess I should give it another go and maybe buffer it with Cetaphil like Paula Begoun recommends.

  20. tararae8 says:

@TheSublimeAgent Thanks for getting back to me! I have another question. I just bought Mario Badescu’s Whitening Mask, do you think this would be safe to use while using Retin-A?

  21. TheSublimeAgent says:

@tararae8 Yes, this is completely normal. It will feel uncomfortable for a couple more days. . . then it will start shedding. This is totally normal and is a sign that it is working :D It should be red and feel very sensitive. :X

  22. tararae8 says:

I started using this a couple days ago. My face almost feels like it’s burning all day, and the texture of my face is different, almost like there is a heat rash or something, almost bumpy. . is this normal?? My face has been kinda itchy too. . . ??
