I bought this as a gift for my mom, and she thought it was strong but good. She started using it every day and had to cut back to 3-4 times per week until her skin acclimated. The 10% solution is better for people with dry skin, and that works for her. If you have oily or acne-prone skin, go with the 5% solution.

I’ve been happy with this C serum but I use it with the entire Obagi system so I’m not sure how it would work on it’s own.
