So I make a smoothie every morning that has whey in it. Obviously not vegan. Do you have a high protein shake recipe that gives you a lot of pep? What’s your stance on hemp protein? Peace!

  3. TheHealthJunkie says:

ahahahaha!! yeah, who wants to die peacefully, in their sleep, of old age, when they can die violently!

  4. RealRawMatt says:

Well yes tattoos are permanent. I had one done before I was raw and one done afterward, about 3-4 years ago. Toxicity depends on the ink used – you can use natural mineral inks or conventional inks that can be pretty toxic.

  5. vicky2c says:

speaking of toxins. . aren’t tatoos toxic and permanent and under your skin and in your blood? I don’t think they are natural at all
and it is self mutilation. why are so many raw foodist tatooed? was it done before you went raw

  6. gansterOG1 says:

    Curiosity strikes, what’s your ethnicity?

I really like you alot, in fact, we are alot alike in so many ways as I watch this. But I got rid of my long hair about a year ago. I’m a bit behind you on fitness, but I’ve envisioned the same kinds of videos as you’re doing. This is cool.

Oh yes, and another argument to prove that the numbers in the Bible are in years and not months. . . Enoch begat Methuselah at 65, if it were months, he would have only been 5 years old.

Hi Matt – WOW wow!!! 129 is pretty impressive. I read an article a while ago of a couple who were celebrating their 90th wedding anniversary (or something very close) – they were 112 and 113. They were in China I think. Lots of vegetables and rice i think they said! Gonna PM you as I can’t fit the links in here!! I saw some amazing photo’s of various over 100′s – and their ‘secrets’ of old age were recorded – one was to chase women! one was a whisky regularly! all sorts!

Thought you’d find this of interest, too: last August, Habib Miyan died at 129 years of age. Not over 200, but still about 49 years longer than most people in the States. Plus, he was healthy and had a good quality of life until his passing, which is just as, if not more, important than the number of years.

  19. RealRawMatt says:

We have several examples of great longevity in more recent record, Li Ching-yung and Thomas Cairn are two off the top of my head.

We are currently living longer, but not healthier, and this generation is the first in many years to have an estimated *decreased* lifespan. The quality of life for many older people is still poor — just look at how many people have trouble even putting their socks on.

  20. RealRawMatt says:

A huge key of aging is definitely genetics, yes. I’d love to see the video if you can find it! That would be fascinating.

  21. alittlebitofperil says:

The disease where the child ages incredibly fast is because of a gene – its not a matter of if, but when we beat ageing, they have already found the genetics which are causing it. . . I saw a science vid very recently explaining this – i will try to find it!

  22. alittlebitofperil says:

I agree we can live longer with what we eat – but bible stories are not historical fact – so you can’t really say that there is any proof of anyone living over 200yrs old. We live longer now than we ever did – merely because of simple things like improved healthcare and knowledge of disease (regardless of what is causing it, ie our diets).

  23. qweqqweqbt says:

cool video. i was thinking along the same lines. :)

you lost me on the super oxide dismutation and the free radical hydrogen peroxide. where does the super oxide come from?

what about marijuana. do u recomend eating or smoking it?

i think 9/11 was an inside job and anyone who says otherwise is probably a liar or an idiot! :)

  24. RealRawMatt says:

hydrogen peroxide has been found to be one of the causes for gray hair, aside from mineral deficiencies and poor nutrient absorption caused by weak stomach HCL and damaged intestinal walls. While on this plan, be sure to incorporate strong anti-oxidants like clove, berries, steamed vegetables, raw honey, bee pollen, and fo-ti (an herb that prevents gray hair and restores color to already gray hair).

    Hope that helps.

    Take care,
    RawMatt

    Hey rawrich,

It’s made by the body, but the body’s ability to get rid of the excess is slower as we age, so we want to be more careful with incorporating additional amounts of it into the body. Treat it like a cleanse and only do it for a short amount of time. If you want more oxygen in your blood, try Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga styles, and mix raw honey in water. Raw honey naturally makes hydrogen peroxide when mixed with water, but it’s less harsh than the concentrate. Also be aware that
